For job applicants

ROSE POULTRY A/S (“ROSE POULTRY”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the processing of your personal data as a job applicant.

The trust of job applicants is important to ROSE POULTRY, and we are therefore focused on protecting their privacy. We collect and process the following personal data that we receive in connection with the recruitment process.

Where do we collect your personal data

We may collect your personal data in the following ways:

We usually collect your personal data directly from you during the recruitment process, e.g. when you send us your application via our website, the things you tell us during a job interview, or when you contact us by phone, e-mail or otherwise. In addition, your personal data may be collected in the following ways:

Personal data that we collect from other sources, e.g. personal data that we receive from providers of personality tests and aptitude assessments, personal data we receive from recruitment agencies, and personal data that we obtain from your previous employer or educational institution, e.g. recommendations.

When and why we process your personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

Administration of the recruitment process. When you send us your job application, we process your personal data for the purpose of receiving, storing and handling your application so that we can also consider you during the recruitment process. You can apply directly for a position or send an unsolicited application.

Processing basis

Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). The processing is necessary to administer the recruitment process and to allow us to consider you. When you apply for a job with us, you can reasonably expect that we will process the personal data described for the purposes mentioned, as the personal data we process are often used in recruitment processes.

Consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We will only contact your former employers or educational institutions if you give your consent.

Retention period

Your personal data will be deleted once the recruitment process is over, but if you give your consent, we would like to store your application for up to 6 months. If you are employed by ROSE POULTRY, the personal data will be stored as part of your personnel file throughout your employment and for up to 5 years after your employment ends.

Assessment of your ability to perform the relevant work (personality and skills tests)

We may process your personal data in connection with personality and skills tests, when we receive statements of such assessments from the providers of these tests, in order to evaluate and determine your ability to perform the relevant work and/or to evaluate your need for further training, education or other professional development.

Processing basis

Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). The processing is necessary to assess and determine your ability to perform the relevant work and/or to assess your need for further training, education or other professional development.

Your personal data will be deleted once the recruitment process is complete, but if you give your consent, we will store your application for up to 6 months. If you are employed by ROSE POULTRY, the personal data will be stored as part of your personnel file throughout your employment and for up to 5 years after your employment ends.

Assessment of the application, with a view to making a decision

We process your personal data when we assess your skills, competences and interests, as well as information from recommendations and job interviews, in order to be able to make a decision on the most suitable job applicant for the current position.
