DUC is a French company specializing in the poultry sector, primarily focused on chicken, from breeding to the production of processed products. With deep historical roots in Chailley, Burgundy, DUC works with an integrated supply chain and a network of partner farmers. With additional sites in Saint-Bauzély (Gard) and Riec-sur-Bélon (Finistère), the company has a strong regional presence and extensive experience in processing fresh and prepared products. DUC products are primarily intended for large retailers and other customers across France.Since 2017, DUC has been part of Plukon Food Group, combining international scale with a local and hands-on approach. Joining DUC means becoming part of a company where people work closely together, take responsibility and have opportunities to learn and grow. Every day, our teams contribute to the production of poultry products that reach customers and consumers across France and beyond.

Plukon was founded in 1894 as a poultry company. The name stands for Pluimveekombinatie Nederland (Poultry Company Netherlands). Since then, we have continued to grow and develop. Today, we also process vegetables and alternative proteins and produce meal components, ready-made meals and salads for customers across Europe.
