As Head of Shipping, I lead a team and handle various administrative tasks. I spend a significant portion of my time preparing and shipping products, ensuring that everything is picked accurately and shipped to our customers. I've worked in shipping for 20 years and still feel very comfortable here. I'm determined to stay with Plukon, perhaps not necessarily in the same role, but certainly within the company.
That's why Frank works at Plukon
A large organization with still enormous growth potential
Plenty of opportunities for advancement
The atmosphere in the department is great. We often meet up with colleagues after work.
"I started as a laborer and progressed to head of department, which I think is a great development."

Frank's workday
At the shipping department, we fluctuate with our customers' demands. My days are incredibly varied. Sometimes we're incredibly busy, while other times it can be quieter. This mainly depends on the number of orders we receive and the available staff. Our workload therefore fluctuates with our customers' demands and the availability of our team. It keeps me on my toes and ensures that no two days are the same.

That's how Frank ended up at Plukon
Before I started working at Plukon Maasmechelen, I worked at a different location. My brother, who also works at Plukon, introduced me to the company. I used to work as a baker, but I realized my life revolved around work and I barely had time for a social life. So I decided to make a change. I applied for a job at Plukon on a Friday and was able to start on Monday. I grabbed the opportunity with both hands and haven't left since.
Meet my colleagues too
We're always there for each other
