Daan

Account Manager Agri

My duties as an account manager in the agricultural sector primarily involve visiting poultry farmers, consulting with colleagues, preparing calculations, and providing advice—in the broadest sense of the word. I'm truly delighted when a poultry farmer and I manage to solve a specific problem and everyone is satisfied. I'm also very happy when I win a new client, and that we can then start a wonderful collaboration together.

That's why Daan works at Plukon

  • I can develop myself here, including through training and courses.

  • At Plukon, I interact with a variety of workers and poultry farmers. I find it both interesting and educational.

  • Here you have the opportunity to do what suits you best.

"A conversation never hurts, I would say: just come over sometime and chat over coffee."

Daan's workday

My workday begins by dealing with email correspondence. Then I head to my first client. Then I visit a potential new client to discuss partnership options. Consultations with representatives—for example, pet food suppliers—are also regularly on my schedule. I usually end my workday with a final check of my email inbox and a response to messages.

Challenges and developments at Plukon

The atmosphere at Plukon is professional when necessary and fun when possible. No two days are the same, and each brings new challenges. This is the perfect combination for me, as it keeps the work interesting. Plukon is a company that is constantly evolving. Seeing how quickly they have grown and how they continue to grow is impressive. I also believe that Plukon invests exceptionally well in employee training to retain staff and be a good employer.
